The boy in the purple jacket tells Dan that he’s dodging him and is scared, challenging him to a battle, he introduces himself as [[Kurin]]. Dan and Kurin battle, with Drago going against Darkus [[Garganoid]]. Garganoid seems to be dodging Drago’s attacks easily, Dan realizes Kurin is no beginner and the battle continues until Kurin stops the battle, saying that this is how it feels to take on Dan Kouzo in a Bakugan battle, leaving.

They want to catch him red-headed and expose him, but they discover Kurin lives next door to him, despite the house being vacant for a long time.

Kurin catches the AO watching his team, he tells them that he can’t let them go. Dan challenges Kurin to a battle, this time Kurin is fighting against Dan, Lia, Wynton, and Shun. Kurin’s team consists of Garganoid, Nobilious, and Skorporos, but he has a headset to help him analyze their attacks. Kurin has the upper hand due to his cheating actions until his spies spot Lightning on the desk, destroying all the equipment and rendering the communication to Kurin useless. With no directions, Kurin cannot win now, the AO defeat his Nobilious and Skorporos, with Dan teaching him a lesson that he should listen to his Bakugan instead of cheating with spies.
